XBRL is an acronym for eXtensible Business Reporting Language. It consists of a way to compile financial information in a standard format so that exchanging information becomes easier and at the same time quicker to analyze. XBRL is quickly becoming a standard imposed for the exchange of information in most organizations and throughout the world's main companies.
